Founder-Led Mindset
DOON was founded by Jennifer Qu, whose experience in premium eyewear manufacturing shaped the company’s structured, practical, and detail-driven approach.
Before founding DOON in 2016, Jennifer built her background through Swank Optical and later served as General Manager of Tom Davies UK’s Shenzhen facility from 2008 to 2016, leading bespoke eyewear production, European-standard factory management, precision engineering, and premium finishing control.
This experience defines how DOON evaluates each frame — material behavior, structure, comfort, finishing, quality risk, and production stability are reviewed before moving from sample development to bulk manufacturing.
